Description Torsten Krah 2006-04-13 08:56:01 UTC
After installing qt-4.1.2, no mkspecs for the new version where installed.

I made a diff against the one from qt3 to qt4.1.2 - and there are differences for linux-g++ spec.
Maybe an error.

kind regards

Got the error.

I am using -nodoc in FEATURES of portage - since 2.1_pre Version, info and doc are completly removed, in 2.0 i thought only real docs are removed.

I dont need the docs and dont have the space to install it - but the mkspecs are needed by qt application to compile.
So i think, the ebuild have to move these mspecs to other patch or force the install of itself without docs - because the ebuild isnt usable for nodoc users.

If i remove the nodoc feature from make.conf, the mkspecs get installed.

kind regards

I can add a check and a warning to the ebuild.

However, I'm curious if it works for you if you add:

RESTRICT="nodoc" to the ebuild.

I just changed qt-4.1.2 to install mkspecs in /usr/share/qt4 again, so if you can try re-emerging and seeing if this fixes it (the nodoc warning is still in the ebuild, but I'll remove if this is fixed).

going to assume this works with qt-4.1.4 since nobody seems to have issues.
