Description Curtis Napier (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-11 12:21:18 UTC
1. move wwwredesign from parakeet to pheasant, keep cvs. Change the domain name to wwwtest.gentoo.org.

2. setup planettest.gentoo.org. needs a mysql database, php and cvs access gentoo-projects/planettest.

3. setup packagestest.gentoo.org. needs a mysql database, php and cvs access gentoo-projects/packagestest

4. setup bugstest.gentoo.org. needs a mysql database, php and cvs access gentoo-projects/bugstest

5. shell account for curtis119 with read/write to /var/www/*

6. forums already has the ftest domain on pheasant, curtis119 needs to be added to the cvs group for this.

8. mysql account for curtis119 with read/write/drop for the above databases (NOT ftest).

7. add robots.txt (attached) to the root of all the above domains so they don't get added to search engines.

tomk has other stuff he is adding to this bug.

We should have a separate vhost for the forums redesign stuff so it doesn't intefere with our normal forums testing (forumstest2.g.o was suggested as it would be easier to set up sudoers, etc.). I can sort out the DB side.

I'd like to be bale to run the following commands with sudo:

apachectl
/etc/init.d/mysql {start,stop,restart}
cp ~/*my.cnf /etc/mysql/my.cnf
cp ~/*httpd.conf /etc/apache2/httpd.conf
cp ~/*forumstest*.gentoo.org.conf /etc/apache2/vhost.d/

curtis119 will need adding to the forums group.

We'd also like a self-signed ftest SSL certificate instead of the one copied from f.g.o.

One more thing that would be helpful, could someone emerge app-text/dos2unix on pheasant?

Ignore that, I've just fixed the script to use sed instead.
