Hi, I don't use pykde so I'm a bit confused as to why the latest sip/pyqt have been package.masked. Can't pykde DEPEND on the correct versions? Alternatively, would the pykde upgrade in http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122550 solve the problem?

Regarding "depending on the correct version": I'm not interested getting bug reports for up/downgrade cycles. Unmask it locally, if you're keen on testing it. There's no reason to force all pykde users who run ~arch to explicitly mask it. Up to now there is no pykde version that does work with the latest pyqt one. I also did not commit the latest eric3 release, which is a compatibility release for PyQt 3.16 and did not check any other possibly affected package, yet.
