The live cd should ideally include 'mt' and the ide-tape module for system restores.
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDETAPE =y
also the install cd should have /dev/ht0 and /dev/nht0 entries as appropriate for udev.

We'll have IDE tape support on the LiveCD images (but not Minimal InstallCD)...

The LiveCD images for 2006.1 include mt-st and CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDETAPE=m
