I'm going to unmask amarok 1.4_beta3, as upstream is less and less likely to fix problems with 1.3 if there are, and the 1.4 betas are proving more stable than the current 1.3.9 version.

Unfortunately some of the new optional features are not available on ~ppc, ~ppc64 and ~sparc:

I just kinda want a confirmation,... a 1.4 _beta_ is more stable than a 1.3 _stable_ version?

That's what upstream deem it to be. Lot of stuff changed so there might still be stuff that has to be worked out, thus it's not ready for stable marking, but it solves enough problems and drops some problematic engines (arts, akode, gstreamer 8) that makes it more stable from that point of view.
