Erm, you'll want to post this in Wine's Bugzilla, posting it here wont get it seen by anyone that needs to see it.
Will do, after checking a few things on my toolchain.
There is now a google-earth version for Linux that includes wine with it. This version runs very well for me.
closing it for it looks like it is fixed and old.
