When emerging net-im/ekiga, I get the following error:

checking for GDU_MODULE_VERSION_CHECK... configure: error: Package requirements
(gnome-doc-utils >= 0.3.2) were not met:

Package gnome-doc-utils was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gnome-doc-utils.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gnome-doc-utils' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Manually emerging gnome-doc-utils fixes the problem.

I can confirm this exists. I had the same issue.

I noticed the help in Ekiga doesn't work - can't it be caused by this?

I added a doc? ( ) dependancy, for me it is not needed, thus only in the gnome? () section.
