Flext is a C++ layer for development of Max/MSP and Pure Data externals.  Max/MSP is an extremely powerful audio programming interface, but I do not know what Pure Data is.  I have been working a little with Max and, searching for a Linux equivelent (which there seems to be none) I found Flext which will allow me and others to work  on some Max stuff within Linux.

No progress here for 1 year; closing WONTFIX. Feel free to reopen with an ebuild.
