Description ml 2006-04-07 19:17:04 UTC
Linphone calls the "host" command for DNS-lookups.
So, a dependency on "net-dns/bind-tools" is necessary!

Have Phun with Gentoo

are you sure this is needed? I am able to run it fine without bind-tools.
Comment 4 ml 2006-05-04 15:09:34 UTC
Just run linphone with '--verbose' option.
Enter a PSTN phone number and press 'call or answer' button. You'll see a failing host command when linphone tries to look up the NAPTR-RRs of that number.

cant find it - but then again, I am using 1.3.5 now :)
Comment 6 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-04 15:25:02 UTC
aah . it works only for pstn numbers, thanks.
Comment 7 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-05 14:52:29 UTC
I have added this in 1.3.5, thanks.
