Today was released new version of nvidia-drivers
Please bump it into portage

Does anybody get random flicker (the picture "winces" for a part of a second) with this new driver? I do. So I masked it and switched back to 1.0.8178-r1.

No. I get a hard Xorg crash (also my custom modelines are completely ignored). However, this is NOT what this bug is about. File a new one.
