kbd is not installed during bootstrap nor part of the stage1.tar.  This is a 
problem if you are in a non us keyboard country such as Sweden.

Nothing seems to pick up kbd as a dependency.  I just finished a complete kde
and partial gnome install and it hasn't been picked up.  It really should be
picked up before any of the GUI stuff is installed for ppl making servers
without GUIs and non US keyboards.  I changed the severity to major now :)

fixed a while back, closing
