I've configured a new rsync mirror in switzerland.
Portage rsync tree is configured and open. (rsync elrond.hispeed.ch:: to test)

IP: 62.2.16.4 (elrond.hispeed.ch)
Contact: christian.birchinger@cablecom.ch (or joker@gentoo.org if you prefer)

Machine is a Compaq DL-380
2x 3Ghz Xeon / 2GB Ram / 200GB CCISS RAID5 Free space
Network connection is 100MBit located in the Cablecom RZ

I could also run a distfiles mirror but i don't have anything configured for that yet. I was told you have too many of those anyway.

Contact me when it's ready to go live so i can change the cronjob.

I briefed Christian on IRC about rsync procedures. Should be good to go.

In the rsync.ch.gentoo.org rotation as rsync2.ch.gentoo.org
