PS, on windows now (pc broke, needed a new HD, downloading gentoo livecd as we speak), so can't post emerge --info

This hasn't always been the case - is it broken with -fomit-frame-pointer on kdemultimedia-3.5.2-r1 (no split ebuilds here I'm afraid) - I've just noticed this segfault and it was working fine recently. Is a filter flag really the solution?

well have the filter flag for this version, and each time a new one comes out, test it without, and if it segfaults put the filter flag back in...

I have the same problem with 3.5.2-r1 (compiled with gcc 4.0.3) - compiling without -fomit-frame-pointer gets rid of the segfault.
Comment 6 Barry Shilliday 2006-05-06 02:48:21 UTC
This also affects kdemultimedia-3.5.2-r2.
Comment 7 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-05-06 05:21:39 UTC
It's gets filtered now, no version bump. Thanks for your help.
