The source for version 1.0 isn't available at the URL in the ebuild anymore. There's apparently a new version out (1.1), and it looks like the old version has been removed from the site. On another note, the patch doesn't work against version 1.1.

Updated ebuild in Sunrise: Patches the buggy MonoDevelop-generated makefile which was only checking for and building against gtk-sharp-1.x and glade-sharp-1.x; bumped these to 2.x.
Bumped to 1.1.7.3 in Sunrise. Tested under the mono-1.1.16.1 released the other day in Portage.

"youtranslate" is a shell script for launching, not a Mono executable. In other words, don't use the ebuilds posted here in Bugzilla anymore. The ebuild is now being maintained (and updated) in Sunrise.

I did the same before... anyway thanks for the help
I try to compile app-misc/youtranslate-1.1.8 from Sunrise overlay on my amd64 system and it seems to be working. I think you may add ~amd64 keyword to the ebuild. But one problem - when main window is hide click on tray icon doesn't take it back and only restart the application will help. Maybe it only in GNOME 2.16?

I'm using Gnome 2.16 and I can duplicate the behavior you described. This wasn't happening under Gnome 2.14. Please send a bug report to the upstream maintainer: http://laas.altervista.org/contacts.php
one of the things I think this great software is missing is the possibility to use a proxy... :-( does anybody know how to set it? tnx to all

If you use Gnome you could also try setting Gnome's proxy in System -> Preferences -> Network Proxy.
