Please always put the package name in the summary.  The version by itself helps nobody.

As for your XML-Parser woes, they are related to the fact that you recently upgraded expat to 2.0.0

As a result please `emerge --oneshot XML-Parser`

and then PLEASE run `revdep-rebuild` to rebuild a good healthy chunk of packages which depend on expat.
