Version 1.3.1 of synergy (synergy2.sourceforge.net) has just been released.

I'd be happy if someone could create an ebuild for it!

just copy the synergy-1.2.8.ebuild to synergy-1.3.1.ebuild then run 
'ebuild synergy-1.3.1.ebuild digest' then if you are running a stable system 'ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge synergy' or add it to the package.keywords and emerge it normally.

I tested this on my box just recently cause I was having some issues with the old version 1.2.4... I upgraded to this one and I am testing it now
