if you want to have xgl opengl acceleration with the entrance login manager, the only way to do it now is to modify the source of entrance(see http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_XGL)

the problem is that the X command is hardcoded.

a better way to do this is to load this command from a config file.

XGL is not in portage, no need to modify anything in ebuilds.
