Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-01 15:38:46 UTC
The configure for gwenview checks for presence of a good enough libexif, if it's found it's used, else an internal copy is built and used.
This categorise as an automagic dependency, as gwenview links to libexif without portage knowing it.
This can be fixed by just adding a hard dependency over libexif, thus always using external libexif (that's also a good idea rather than using an internal copy, as that is simpler to fix for security updates and similar).

HTH,
Diego

I've committed the fix myself and put gwenview under kde herd, so that while you're away we can handle the bugs that might come up.
