Opening a link to any media that is known to play otherwise on standalone totem, just shows up a blank page (or space on the page) - and the plugin doesn't show up. There's no error either, and the browser's status just says "Done".
I've tried with totem from either gnome-2.12 and gnome-2.14.

Please test with totem-2.16.2-r1 as a similar issue on amd64 and x86 has been resolved.  Marking as fixed for now.
