Description Alastair Mailer 2006-03-31 08:00:08 UTC
Originally, in my package.keywords I had "=sys-apps/portage-2.1_pre6-r7 ~x86".

I emerged kuroo and surprisingly found it wanted to update portage to 2.1_pre7-r3. When I looked in my package.keywords I found it had changed my line to "sys-apps/portage ~x86". Attemping to use the "Install only specific version and do not update further" option had no apparent effect.

emerge --info:

Karim, would you have a look, if this is a Kuroo bug or if we better forward to Portage devs!?
Comment 2 Karim 2006-04-01 22:36:22 UTC
Installing a specific testing version of a package is not yet supported by kuroo.

Comment 3 Karim 2006-04-11 11:54:46 UTC
Fixed in new release kuroo-0.80.1.
Comment 4 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-04-11 13:49:30 UTC
This has now been added to portage and is coming to a mirror near you shortly! Thanks Karim.
