Bug 128235 – Kopete 3.5.2 configuration do crash the application

Hi, well since KDE 3.5.2 I have issue on Kopete

When I try to open configure menu option, the program crash

I have try 0.12 (SVN version), here the message out on console:

kopete: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/kde3/kcm_kopete_avdeviceconfig.so: undefined symbol: _ZN6Kopete2AV15VideoDevicePool21fillStandardKComboBoxEP9KComboBox

What's the problem ?

Does any body has this to work ?

I think they come from v4l (not activate on my kernel).

I don't know about kopete, but many other kde-3.5.2 packages crashed on me, until I added "debug" to the package.use line for them.  That didn't tell me why they crashed, but did tell stop the crashing.

my kopete crashes only when i try to go to the devices section :(

well, i did some checking in kde's bugzilla and i realized that i don't have the webcam module installed. i emerged it and it works like a charm... anyway, if you don't have a webcam at all and it still crashes check this http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120117

Doesn't appear that bug is still active.
