Hello guys! On redhat/centos/fedora the application useradd has a option -M. This option is useful when you use in /etc/login.defs the directive: CREATE_HOME true Perhaps this isn't the right channel to ask for, but the website of shadow is down... http://shadow.pld.org.pl/ So, if this is a compilation option, i will fill greate with. Perdon my poor english... And please, make option CREATE_HOME true, on login.defs, default :)
We use almost straight sources from upstream for the shadow package, being a package involved in security, your best bet is to ask for adding that option to upstream shadow, then with the next version it will be available in Gentoo, too.
