Have you run revdep-rebuild yet?

Thanks
Comment 2 Dustin Polke 2006-03-28 07:37:24 UTC
Yes. I ran 'revdep-rebuild'. Here the output:

will be emerged.

Forgot to tell that the error still occurs.
Comment 4 John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-28 07:48:05 UTC
do you have gamin or fam installed?
Comment 5 Dustin Polke 2006-03-28 07:54:41 UTC
I've installed fam:

*  app-admin/gamin
      Latest version available: 0.1.7
      Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ]
*  app-admin/fam
      Latest version available: 2.7.0-r4
      Latest version installed: 2.7.0-r4

Comment 6 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-28 08:19:56 UTC
FamNoExists is gamin specific, this means you built gnome-menus with gamin and are now trying to build eel with fam. The 2 libs clash. I suggest you remove fam and install gamin.
Comment 7 Dustin Polke 2006-03-28 11:15:24 UTC
I reemerge gnome-base/gnome-menus.
After that I was able to emerge eel as well.
Problem was that I switch from gamin to fam. Have to check whether other packages are affected as well.

Thanks for your help guys!
