Comment 1 Martin Mokrejš 2006-03-27 05:48:01 UTC
cairo-1.0.4 compiles fine as long as I use USE="-doc". Please push in new ebuild. The 1.0.2 patch applies fine ove rthe 1.0,4 tree.
Comment 2 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-27 05:49:45 UTC
those permission denieds are during build in the buildtree? sounds more like a portage issue.
Comment 3 Martin Mokrejš 2006-03-29 11:37:11 UTC
Yes, it was during the compile:

!!! ERROR: x11-libs/cairo-1.0.2 failed.
Call stack:

  ebuild.sh, line 923: Called src_compile

Comment 4 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-29 12:00:38 UTC
was it consistently reproducable and it didn't show in 1.0.4 ? 1.0.2 still bails out and 1.0.4 works fine ?
Comment 5 Martin Mokrejš 2006-04-08 12:03:04 UTC
No, I cannot reproduce that anymore. But it was reproducible at least twice. ;-)
Maybe was a portage issue, definitely not space propblem.

noone else reporting and since you cannot reproduce it anymore, closing.
