This is a diff from the alsaproject for boards with the aalog devces sound chip or intel boards that use the hda-ntel driver. It resolves the a whine out of the left chanel. The alsa project bug tracker is

I am fairly new to linux so I don't know if there is a better way to do this in the ebuild than I did it, if there is let me know so next tmeI do it properly. Thanks

picture me very sorry I thought this was working perfectly sound is perfect till shutdown then it crashes computer somethig to do with somethg sound being locked

This should be fixed by rc5.
