Three of the six Australian states legislated to extend daylight savings this year by one week due to the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Gentoo packages containing this update are still masked on several architectures (including x86), so systems in these timezones running gentoo stable are showing the wrong time right now. The ~x86 masked package sys-libs/timezone-data has the correct information (in both available versions: 2006a and 2006b). Can one of these please be marked stable on x86 (and other remaining architectures)? 2006a is already stable on eight architectures. Thanks!
Marked stable on x86.
We need to mark a new glibc revision stable too. Keeping this open until we mark that as well.
Which revision and I'll test it?
2.3.5-r3 should use the new timezone-data package.
I'm building glibc now on my test box and will be merging world afterwards. I don't expect to see it break or anything, but I'd rather be safe than sorry on a toolchain package.
Stable on x86 now. I am assigning this to amd64, since they need to do the same.
