From compile: configure: checking neon library checking neon library version... 0.25.5 You have neon version 0.25.5, but Subversion needs neon 0.25.4. An appropriate version of neon could not be found, so libsvn_ra_dav will not be built. If you want to build libsvn_ra_dav, please either install neon 0.25.4 on this system or get neon 0.25.4 from: http://www.webdav.org/neon/neon-0.25.4.tar.gz unpack the archive using tar/gunzip and rename the resulting directory from ./neon-0.25.4/ to ./neon/ no suitable neon found
Please sync your tree and try again. This bug has been fixed some time already.
I synced today morning. I created neon-0.25.4 ebuild in my portage overlay to work it around.
It also works with 0.25.3. The subversion warning is unspecific. I still believe you have the wrong ebuild. Perhaps try a different rsync server. The md5sum should be: md5sum subversion-1.3.0.ebuild 3aef11771055c932add284e1c7a30a17 subversion-1.3.0.ebuild Could you verify the existence of /usr/portage/dev-util/subversion/files/subversion-neon-config.patch If your rsync server is broken, it would be useful to know it's name.
I found the problem. I have axxo-overlay installed and portage uses subversion ebuild from it (and that one misses the patch). So the problem is not in public portage but in axxo's overlay. Thank you for help.
