Due to problems in my web browser I cannot paste the error message here, instead i'll attach the error message in a file.. . Also.. this error only happens the first time I try to load the mouse, if I kill gpm and try to load it again.. it succeeds. So I also attach my gpm-init script that I run to make the mouse work! :-p this really is a strange bug I guess. Informations about the system: Tyan TigerMP motherboard (s2460) Microsoft IntelliMouse 1.2A ps/2 bios version 1.4 .. I think these are hardware specs are the only ones of possible interest. (older versions of gpm did have the same problem)
Created attachment 6750 [details] error while trying to load ps/2 intellimouse, command line options: gpm -t imsp2 -Rimps2 -m /dev/misc/psaux
Created attachment 6751 [details] gpm init script run by /etc/conf.d/local.start This is the lame script that I use to start my mouse! (to circunvent the problem)
Is this still a issue with the newest patched version of gpm?
Seems that this has become a none issue .. please report if there is still problems Michael Nazaroff
