Using LiveCD, I set my mouse to left-handed in the preference panel, but the buttons are not swapped. The panel shows the mouse as left-handed, but the actual mouse operation is unchanged: left button is still button 1 and the right button is still button 3.

Following the install, the problem still persists.

running on 2.16 this appears to be fine. i can't reproduce this.

what livecd were you using at that time ?

Newer livecds have been released. If this is still an issue with newer builds, don't hesitate to reopen. Thanks
