new version of america's army 2.6.0 is out.
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/games/#doc_chap5_sect5 Second, it is *not* out yet for Linux. http://icculus.org/news/news.php?id=2577 Please refrain from posting bugs with little to no information such as this, as it doesn't do much in the way of assisting us. If you're going to post a version bump bug, then at least make sure that you've tried to provide useful information, such as information on adjusting the ebuild, or even a link to the story saying that it has been released, which it has not. Just for future reference, I'm in touch with the AA devs, along with Epic and Id, so I'm usually aware of this stuff before the public is... =]

The server portion is (has been) out for Linux. http://forum.americasarmy.com/viewtopic.php?p=2213742#2213742 Since that is all we'll get for the foreseeable future, the ebuild should probably be split into two: americas-army-server-260.ebuild (now-ish) americas-army-client-260.ebuild (TBD, if ever) Plenty of Gentoo folks would benefit from having the latest server.
2.8.0 server is out, any chance this can get into portage? http://icculus.org/news/news.php?id=3886
That has nothing to do with *this* bug. Feel free to file a bug to have the server added.
