After updating from 2005 to 2006, partimage fails to start, with the following message: *** glibc detected *** free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x080aa110 ***

I had reemerged it. It still doesn't works. Same problem

It is not really fixed still the same problem after emerge -e system and emerge -e world

and anjuta also fails to start

with glibc-2.3.6-r3 and partimage versions 0.6.4-r3 and r4 still the same problem (I have tested it with both versions, stable and unstable). Could it be a proble with my cflags?

please sync your portage, remove -O3 and add -O2.

try both -r3 and -r4.
