emerge -av ogre fails on amd64, 1.0.6 worked fine.

This does work correctly if you uninstall the old version of Ogre first.  During the make process all of ogre builds successfully, but for some reason during make install, it goes through and tries to re-link all the libraries and links them against the old version which is already installed.  If you uninstall the old version first, then the re-linking finds the correct local version to link against.
