it would be real nice if you guys included audigy support as an ebuild like 
you do for nvidia.  I would make one, but i can't yet.  If i can get one 
working i will send it to you.  until then, this is just an 'official' request 
to support audigy.  thank you very much.
If you have already received enhancement requests for audigy, then I second 
their request:)

I have audigy stuff working here (I have one :); I can roll up an ebuild soon.

ok, just committed a media-sound/emu10k1-audigy ebuild.  merge it, modprobe
soundcore and emu10k1, and then run audigy-script and you should have sound.  Enjoy!
