on my fresh 2006.0 system iam getting the following error while emerging xorg-x11.

glint_dri.c: In function 'GLINTDRISawapContext':
glint_dri.c:1856: internal compiler error: Segmantation fault.

*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x000000000105f380 ***

as i see, all options in the kernel where set correctly.

using
kernel 2.6.15-gentoo-r7
asus a8n sli deluxe
ati redeon x700 pro at pci-e

gcc seems to be segfaulting in strange ways. If this is actually a problem on our end, feel free to assign back with a suggestion.
Comment 4 Scott Mueller 2006-03-23 08:04:42 UTC
is there nothing else i can do?

should i post this bug anywhere else? two gentoo colleguages tryed also to fix it but it's not working. otherwise i had to change the distro or downgrading to 2005.1 which works.

Comment 5 Scott Mueller 2006-03-26 08:59:57 UTC
same problem when iam trying to update gcc
*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list

Been awhile, so...

Is this still happening for you?
