Comment 2 emerald 2006-04-23 03:25:11 UTC
second try works for me...
Comment 3 Paolo Pedroni 2006-04-24 11:38:48 UTC
I have the same problem trying to recompile libcaca-0.9-r1 after changing some USE flag.

It does not even work on second try.
Comment 4 Martin Mokrejš 2006-05-03 19:45:07 UTC
I have slightly different problem:

I have tried several times with identical results.

I had the exact same problem with auto make failing due to 'required file `autotools/ltmain.sh' not found' but after retrying the compile about 5 to 6 times it just randomly worked.

Very very strange.

Still having a similar (automake, instead of autoconf) problem with libcaca-0.9-r2 (now stable), and with most of the system completely recompiled (with emerge -e).

Portage seems to give a little more output now:

There were some changes to libcaca-0.9-r2 in october.
For me it works.

Please reopen if bug still exists.

media-libs/libcaca-0.99_beta11 seems fine for me on two hosts
