Description Marius Mauch (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-19 10:30:44 UTC
I think slpheed-claws-2.0 is ready to go stable, this is the recommended version by upstream (1.x isn't supported by them anymore).
- amd64, ppc, sparc and x86 have currently 2.0 as ~arch and 1.0.5-r1 as arch
- hppa only has 2.0 as ~arch
- alpha and ppc64 only have 1.0.5-r1 as arch, you likely only want to add a ~arch keyword to 2.0 for now
sylpheed-claws-2.0 also needs libetpan-0.42 as stable, and I recommend you also consider the plugins in mail-client/sylpheed-claws-* for keywording.

I don't intend to drop 1.0.5-r1 in the near future, but pretty much everyone is on 2.0 these days so we should also have it as "default".

I'm using 2.0.0 daily quite heavily, and I think it's OK to go stable. x86 done. As for plugins, I'll mark those I don't use regularly, one by one, as I test them.
Comment 2 Fernando J. Pereda (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-20 09:18:09 UTC
Marked libetpan, sylpheed-claws-2.0.0 and sylpheed-claws-rssyl-0.4 ~alpha.

Cheers,
Ferdy

AMD64: any reason you can't mark it stable yet?

Would be nice to stabilize 2.1.1 also (x86) since it was added more than 30 days ago.
