Description Peter Johanson (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-12-24 21:39:39 UTC
gpsd is a daemon which listens on the serial port for NMEA (gps) data and posts
it to a port for clients to connect to. Especially useful for use with kismet to
plot GPS data.

tested on a p4-m with somewhat agressive flags. compiles fine.

here's the ebuild. very straightforward. The dolib line is not necessary, but
for all i know, some random program out there might want the gpsd lib.

This is just a slightly cleaned up version of the same ebuild... removed the
commented lines which where from a fix for 1.06.
