libhome is a configurable getpwnam(3) emulator. Feature include :
Able to use MySQL, LDAP or system password backend; 
Multiple authentication server support; 
Virtual domain support; 
User directory hashing via regular expression; 
Plaintext or crypted password support; 
Fully configurable; 
Perl module; 
Dynamicaly preloadable library.
