Description Alastair Mailer 2006-03-18 06:15:23 UTC
MSN Messenger File transfers are not working in Kopete: If I try initiate one by clicking "Send file..." in either the buddy list or in a chat window, nothing happens and nothing is outputted to the terminal if I start Kopete from there. If someone tries to send a file to me, the accept/reject dialog appears and I can select "Accept" and the file transfer progress box comes up but the progress bar remains at 0% and the file is never transferred.

A part there's no ebuild of kopete versioned as in summary, I'll suppose you're referring to 3.4.3.
This is a known problem fixed in later 3.5.1-r1 revision or in 0.12_beta1 and later.

Yup, upgraded to KDE 3.5 (Kopete 0.11.1 (using KDE 3.5.2)) and works fine.
