kpdf depends heavily on poppler, the current version of kpdf is 0.5.1.
this version of popper does not work correctly kpdf 0.5.1 this bug is directly related to the incorrect poppler (0.5.0) version being compiled with kpdf (0.5.1), please enable this ebuild to DEPEND on >=poppler-0.5.1 to be consistent with the version of kpdf 0.5.1 (ebuild kpdf-3.5.1-r2)

This was fixed already.
