Description Lars Langhans 2006-03-17 01:52:34 UTC
I start mirrorselect with -H -t 10 -d and got a error message.
Also blockmode -b 10 or -b 90 or -b 1 doesn't work

Sample output:

lla-1 # mirrorselect -H -t 10 -d
getlist(): fetching with wget --quiet -O - http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors.xml?passthru=1
* Downloading a list of mirrors... Got 214 mirrors.
Extractor(): fetched mirrors.xml, 214 hosts before filtering
* Limiting test to http hosts. 120 of 214 removed.
* Stripping hosts that only support ipv6...
strip_ipv6(): got 94 hosts
 Removed 2 of 94

Sorry for the delay, I've been busy in real life. I'll look into this tonight
Comment 3 Colin Kingsley (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-26 21:25:33 UTC
It appears that this was a temporary issue caused by a strange URI in mirros.xml. The problem does not occur when I run mirrorselect currently, however it does occur when I feed netselect the argument list your debug output provided me.

If this is still a problem for you, please reopen the bug. Thank you for your time in reporting the problem.
