There's a new version of the PECL package ZIP available.

The old v1.0 ebuild works fine for me on amd64 with dev-lang/php-5.1.2 - except that the dependency for dev-libs/zziplib should be removed for the new release.

Meanwhile, 1.6.0 has been released. As for 1.2.0, the old v1.0 ebuild works fine, only that dependency should be removed.

1.7.0 is out, works like a charm. Does anyone read this, anyway? X-)

dev-php4/pecl-zip-1.7.0 and dev-php5/pecl-zip-1.7.0 are in the tree now.

As I said in my previous posting, the newer versions of this extension does not require zziplib anymore. Please remove that dependency from the 1.7.0 ebuild.
