Description Andrew Dorney 2006-03-14 18:08:49 UTC
I ran an emerge --sync today (3-14-2006) around 8 PM CST, and ran emerge -puD world afterwards. I got this message... it's a simple fix, just adding a > to the ebuild, but apparently PodParser 1.28 is no longer in Portage.

StubbornAesthetics ~ # emerge -puD world

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating world dependencies -
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=perl-core/PodParser-1.28".
(dependency required by "virtual/perl-PodParser-1.28" [ebuild])

!!! Problem resolving dependencies for mail-client/evolution
!!! Depgraph creation failed.

LOL. I'm such a dork. Not an evolution thing.

I just need to emerge virtual/perl-PodParser-1.30. It's ~amd64, though, so maybe it should be marked as stable if perl-core/perl-PodParser is?

Fixed in cvs, and I'll use this as the tracker. Basically marked perl-core/Pod-Parser stable, but not the appropriate virtual/perl-PodParser :/.
