In portage we only have version 2.0.8. 10 days ago, versions 3.0.7a has been released.

I have managed to compile and install the new version just be renaming to current ebuild php-java-bridge-2.0.8.ebuild to php-java-bridge-3.0.7a.ebuild for both dev-php4 and dev-php5.

Haven't had a chance to test the functionality though.

Always include ebuild name in bug summary when requesting version bumps, please...

dev-php5/php-java-bridge was updated to 3.0.7a in the PHP Overlay [1].
dev-php4/php-java-bridge will not see any of the 3.X releases as PHP4 isn't supported by them anymore.
Please test 3.0.7a from the Overlay and report any problems to the ticket system in the Overlay, thanks!
