Hi,
I've created an ebuild for usb-headset-button, a utility to control the ALSA volume using the buttons of a usb headset. Till now, it has only been tested using Logitech headsets, but should work with any other usb headset, too.

The initscript is able to handle more than one usb-device, but that couldn't have been tested yet, too. So if somebody has more than one usb device with volume controls, please test this.

This ebuild checks for necessary kernel and ALSA options before installing.

This tool is deprecated and not maintained anymore. Also one of the scripts was still buggy. Closing this bug.
