I went through testing out stunnel 4.02, the masked version as of this date, and found a couple bugs. First of all, the stunnel init-script has some bugs. It's not set as executable in /etc/init.d. And it needs to have " -- /etc/stunnel.conf" added to it's start-stop-daemon command-line so it can find stunnel.conf. Second, it's looking for /usr/etc/stunnel/stunnel.pem for it's cert and keyfile. Maybe something more FHS-standardized would be better than /usr/etc/stunnel would be more appropriate? Notes: start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --exec /usr/sbin/stunnel -- /etc/stunnel.conf That's how I meant for the init.d/stunnel to look.
aliz i hope you're the right guy for security
Fixed, thanks for finding this!
