Description Nathan Powell 2006-03-12 15:06:42 UTC
This should likely go upstream, but since gentoo likes them here first...

After installing the latest (masked) mythweb-.19 the javascript hardlocks firefox. Each time I tried to visit the web server Firefox would start to load and then freeze. Disabling javascript makes that stop, as well as commenting out some of the javascript.

I just realized I should have said, I tested this in Firefox 1.5, Firefox 1.07 and Opera 8.2. It locked up both firefox versions, and not opera. My bad.

Works here and for several other users. How do you know it's the javaascript?
Comment 3 Nathan Powell 2006-03-12 16:06:24 UTC
Disabling JS in FF allows me to visit it.

This is still a standard bug report which means you still need to include emerge info.

Which version exactly of firefox are you using? emerge -pv mozilla-firefox or mozilla-firefox-bin needs to be included as well.

My apologies for the bug report, it turned out to be a more generalized problem with my setup. Ultimately it had nothing to do with myth.

Sorry for the extra work.
