Skunkweb can be safely version bumped to 3.4.1. Tested on ppc and x86, should be fine on amd64 as well. No ebuild changes required.
from the skunkweb dev mailing list: """ [...] skunkweb 3.4.1, which contains some minor bugfixes and one new service (misleadingly called "mvc", sorry about that) which implements controllers (a la CherryPy, Rails, etc.) and uses Routes (routes.groovie.org) to resolve controllers from urls [...] """ So, actually, there is a new dependency ("routes"), which at now it is not in portage
3.4.1 is in portage (the routes dependency will be fixed later). PS: _thanks_ for developing this great software
Oops, I forgot about routes. Marien Zart actually has an ebuild for this as well as a bunch of other things (including pydo2), using his setuptools.eclass (which addresses the eggs problem very nicely IMO); I hope these will make it into the tree, so you might want to coordinate with him about routes. But it isn't a hard dependency and isn't worth flagging, either. > _thanks_ You are very welcome -- I'm glad it has been useful!
