Ran emerge world today.  Portage wants to downgrade my mythtv-0.18.1-r2 installation to 0.18.1-r1.  According to the changelog it seems that 0.18.1-r2 has been removed from the portage tree:

*mythtv-0.19_p9163-r1 (10 Mar 2006)

  10 Mar 2006; Doug Goldstein <cardoe@gentoo.org> **-mythtv-0.18.1-r2.ebuild**,
  -mythtv-0.19.ebuild, -mythtv-0.19-r1.ebuild, +mythtv-0.19_p9163-r1.ebuild:
  USE flag tweaks, some more error msgs based on configuration, fine tune some
  depends, install contrib directory

with no explaination why it was removed.

At this time I don't want to upgrade, and especially DO NOT wish to downgrade.  mythtv working like a well oiled machine :)

Can someone please restore the mythtv-0.18.1-r2 ebuild back into the portage tree?

Grab it from webcvs and put it in your overlay. I think Doug doesn't want to deal with the old versions anymore.
