Description Sven Jacobs 2002-12-22 11:12:40 UTC
All KDE 3.0.5a ebuilds tried to download the tarballs from the directory
/kde/3.0.4/ on the mirrors even though /kde/3.0.5a/ is correctly defined as src
location in the ebuild files. I had to manually download all tarballs and put
them in the /usr/portage/distfiles directory to build KDE 3.0.5a.

I am using portage version 2.0.46-r2.

hmm, sure? the first version of arts had a wrong SRC_URI, but other kde-1.0.5a
packages should have worked fine.
please post output of 'grep Header /usr/portage/eclass/kde.org.eclass'.
Comment 2 Sven Jacobs 2002-12-23 02:29:16 UTC
I also tried to emerge other kde ebuilds than arts, same problem. The output is
'# $Header: /home/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/eclass/kde.org.eclass,v 1.24 2002/12/22
15:40:58 hannes Exp $'

what does 'emerge -pf =kdelibs-3.0.5a' return (please first move the kdelibs-3.0.5a
tarball out of /usr/portage/distfiles)?
Comment 5 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-07 10:24:34 UTC
well, at least it is fixed in portage, so i will close this bug.
thanks.
